A*STAR, together with NParks and the other OneHealth Agencies (NEA, SFA, MOH, PUB) connected on the topic discussion 'Biosurveillance'.

ID HTCO NParks workshop 2022 took place on 23 November at the Jurong Lake Gardens and the theme was 'Research Sharing and Brainstorming: Biosurveillance'The aquaculture international community gathered to share ideas and discuss the latest trends and developments of aquaculture in the Asia-Pacific region as well as the rest of the world, from breeding and genetics to sustainable development of aquaculture.

Dr Tze Hoong Chua, Group Director NParks and Prof Lisa Ng, ED HTCO, delivered the welcome address.

Dr Yinping Yang, IHPC, presented her research findings on using social disease surveillance and public sensing to predict social-bio surveillance intelligence.

Prof Marco Vignuzzi, A*IDL shared on the understanding and manipulation of virus evolution as antiviral strategies and vector control.

Dr Su Xiaodi, IMRE, shared insights on her research interests in developing rapid biosensors and advanced analytical technologies for environmental monitoring and animal diseases.

Across the 3.5hrs event, our researchers shared about their innovative and wide range of solutions that were relevant to address NPark's areas of interest and went into breakout sessions for mindsharing sessions with NParks and representatives from the other OneHealth agencies to identify the key areas for further discussion.
