Modular Programmes (under Specialisations):
industrial automation
- We are revamping the full qualifications for the Graduate Diploma courses. Applicants can still sign up for the individual modules under the specialisations.
Introduction
With the growing needs on enhancing productivity, more highly skilled engineers are in demand for effective adoption of robotics and automation technologies in manufacturing industry. These engineers must have the capabilities to assess the manufacturing processes, identify potential hot spots, and to plan and implement suitable automation technology.
To this end, SIMTech ‘s Modular Programmes specialisating in Industrial Automation aims to fill the gaps in knowledge and skills for the manufacturing industry in the areas of robotics, material handling, automation system control, design and simulation.
Why This Course
This course provides the participants unique opportunities to learn and apply the competencies for planning, selecting and implementing robotics and automation systems.
- Highly practical course content delivered in an intensive and interactive manner
- Introduction of state-of-the-art automation technology and solutions
- Case studies highlighting industrial applications
- Real-world projects will be discussed to enhance participants’ skills in planning & managing for robotic systems
Industry Relevance
This course is targeted at engineers, supervisors, managers, researchers, and technicians, in the precision engineering, logistics, and aerospace, and marine & offshore industries. It is highly suitable for those involved in design, planning, purchasing and supply robots and automation systems.
