SME Day 2019
SME Day was held on 4th April 2019, featuring over 70 exhibitors and graced by Minister Chan Chun Sing as Guest of Honour.
Co-organised by A*STAR and Enterprise Singapore, SME Day 2019 was held on 4th April at the Resorts World at Sentosa. Guest-of-Honour Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Trade and Industry, encouraged local enterprises to continue focusing on their R&D capabilities to stay competitive by constantly innovating.
ARTC participated in the exhibition with various showcases from the Data-Driven Surface Enhancement (DSE), Intelligent Product Verification (IPV) and ROS-Industrial technical teams. Visitors were able to check out ARTC’s latest technology capabilities such as 3D laser scanning – which optimises factory planning via virtual reality, reducing cost and down-time, abrasive flow machining, and the 5-axis polishing machine – which produces a consistent polishing outcome for components.
Mr Prashant Chhaya, Senior Consultant for ARTC’s FMCG arm, also shared with the audience during the Show and Tell session on the need for hyper-personalisation, and ARTC’s efforts to further strengthen its FMCG competencies.
SME Day 2019 was attended by over 1,700 guests, mostly from SMEs.
