In this session, we bring together experts who will be sharing their work in the development of novel point-of-care (PoC) diagnostic platforms, regulatory pathways and ways to safeguard against unapproved PoC tests, as well as commercialisation and deployment of the Singapore’s first approved COVID-19 RT-PCR diagnostic kit to over 45 countries worldwide. 

The speaker will offer insights into the pain points and challenges faced, the ideation to create a new model of care and how user-/patient-centric solutions were identified to achieve the best possible outcomes. The talk will also cover the role of Heart Track™ as a pioneer framework in the future of chronic disease management and the delivery of care anytime anywhere.

In this session, the speaker will cover the recent trends seen across the healthcare and life sciences industry in general, and medical device industry in particular, with special emphasis on the application of cloud and IOT technologies to solve commercial and operational problems for a variety of customers. Some use cases and applications, and the overall trend (commercial, technical and clinical trends) of cloud technologies and IOT in medical devices will be discussed.
