Learn-Assess-Prioritise-Plan model
Introduction
With increasing global and local government emphasis on corporate environmental sustainability management, more companies are interested in learning how to become more sustainable. However, many companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), find it challenging to allocate time and resources for training and implementation after completing a course. Our 26-hour course is designed for individuals, Authorized Training Organizations (ATOs), and Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs) who wish to equip themselves or their trainers with the necessary knowledge and skills to assist companies in environmental sustainability assessment, prioritization, and technology road mapping using Green Compass™ Assessment, Prioritisation, and Roadmapping methodologies
The Train-the-Consultant: Green Excellence for Manufacturing course consists of a theory class (7 hours) and a practical training class (17 hours), with a corresponding written assessment and practical demonstration assessment (2 hours).
Each trainee must be assessed as competent for both assessment components to be certified as a trainer.
Topics covered:
- Green Compass™ Assessment, Prioritisation, and Roadmapping methodologies
- Environmental sustainability concepts and case studies for companies’ sustainability performance improvement, specifically in the areas of carbon, energy, water, material and waste management etc
- Facilitation of participants’ discussions relating to sustainability improvement ideas generation and roadmapping
