Congratulations to Dr Asyifah Rashid, Acting Director for Strategy and Operations at A*STAR Genome Institute of Singapore (A*STAR GIS), who is one of the two recipients of the prestigious 2025 Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship!

Established in 1991 to honour the legacy of Singapore’s founding Prime Minister, the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship is awarded to exceptional individuals who exemplify a deep commitment to serving Singapore and its people.

Dr Asyifah will be pursuing the INSEAD Global Executive MBA, which will empower her with advanced capabilities in strategic leadership, organisational transformation, and decision-making in complex environments. These skills are vital as she continues to spearhead national efforts at A*STAR to translate scientific innovation into meaningful health and economic outcomes for Singapore.
