Asian Skin Microbiome Programme

The Asian Skin Microbiome Programme (ASMP) aims to be an enabler of industrial skin biology research. This would be achieved through the development of an integrated platform of assets and technologies that would further the functional understanding of the skin microbiome on skin health and inflammation, and provide avenues for experimental validations to inform clinical interventions for better skin health.

A multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians with capabilities in skin biology, big data and omics analytics, biofilms, and skin microbiology will work together to develop a suite of assets and technologies that can address the unmet research and clinical needs of the industries.

With a focus on the Asian skin, ASMP aspires to be a preferred commercial partner by differentiating itself from the other academic and clinical initiatives in America and Europe, and establishes itself as an authority in Asian skin research.
