Dr. Sebastian Maurer-Stroh was recently featured in the Straits Times, where he shared that based on GISAID data, the Delta variant is very successful and no other variant looks set to take the world by storm in the near future.  He also shared that, “it would be rare for a new variant to both spread faster and increase disease severity”.
